Hi, my name is Dan Marsalek and I'm the Hungry Chef!


I’ve been a professional chef for the past 14 years, pursuing my passion and love of food all over the globe. 


Originally hailing from Canberra, I first found myself travelling the East Coast of Australia, exploring and finding amazing foods along the way. 


Eventually migrating to Europe, I spent two years in Dublin, Ireland, earning a Michelin Star at restaurant Heron & Grey alongside my mentor and Chef Damien. 


Always looking forward, I pursued more! The next stop in my career was working at a two Michelin Star restaurant as a Pastry Chef.


Moving across the water to the UK, I began the absolute highlight of my career working at the coveted 3 Michelin Star restaurant, ‘The Fat Duck‘ by Heston Blumenthal. 


Passionate about amazing food, working with incredible chefs and truly mastering my craft, I’ve landed in Brisbane, bringing my skills and passion, right to your table.

Dan was awesome! He went over and above to provide a wonderful experience for us. The night far exceeded our expectations. All in all a wonderful night for my sister’s 50th.
